Nursery: Decorated!

So at Christmas I won a gift certificate to a shop called WeeDecor that does fabric wall stickers. After I ordered them I discovered that you had to wait 30 days after painting to put them up... so between not painting until the middle of February and the girls making their arrival just shy of a month later I have just now finished...

Here are the letters I did (twice) back in February...

These are the extras on the wall under the window...

 

Here's the main design, a tree with pink birdies in it!  And the Winnie the Pooh cross stitch my college roommate made me a long time ago...

And the whole design!  There are also a pair of birdies over the doorway - the idea of my sister-in-law, and two more pink dragonflies on the wall by the light switch.

The other half of the room is still covered by my desk/computer/filing cabinet and a very large collection of diaper boxes.  We'll have to move things around again in a few months when they both need their own bed, but for now they share!

I really love how it looks, but I'm not sure how long the decals will last... they don't seem to stick real well, especially on the texture.  Story of my life I guess, nothing goes well on textured walls except straight paint!
