By the time you're reading this we'll most likely be somewhere over the Arctic Circle! We're flying from Seattle to Amsterdam on Sunday and then on to Saudi Arabia on Monday!
Of course it snowed this weekend when it hasn't snowed in weeks. Without fail, whenever we have to go to the airport it makes our trip over the mountains interesting by snowing. Seriously annoying!
For those of you (non-family) who don't know, my husband, Brian, grew up in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). His dad was an engineer for the Saudi Aramco Oil company.
Last year was the company's 75th anniversary so they decided to hold a reunion. When Brian's dad found he said "we're going" and paid all our deposits. It's not just every day you can decide to go visit KSA since you must have an immediate relative living there or go on a sponsored trip like this one to get a visa.
We'll be gone for 2 weeks and I'm not sure how much internet time I'll have while there. I hope to post a few pictures and short updates, but I'll definitely be writing more when we get back.
Wish us luck on 24 hours worth of traveling with a toddler!
Have a fabulous time! What a wonderful opportunity!
